notice of before surgery

 

1. The surgery time will for 2 ~ 3 hours, also you will take time in a recovery room for 1 ~ 2 hours after surgery,

and then you will go back to patient's room.

 

2. Need endotracheal intubation for anesthesia and breathe (intubation tube into the bronchial tube through the nose).

It feels like there's foreign object stuck and pain in your throat for 3 ~ 4 days, Because of exposure to airway irritant.

3. Need to stick one side nose the 10cm tube, this tube aim is breathe through nose smoothly.

And it will be removed night of the operation.y

 

4. You will have dry phlegm a lot also will be bleeding through nose and mouth 3 ~ 4 days after surgery.

Don't worry too much its normal situation if you happen to show difficulty in breathing, the nurse will use medical equipment to remove phlegm.

 

5. You will feel nausea and dizziness the next morning since surgery, and if blood flow into stomach, you could feel vomiting or could vomit.

 

6. You could feel terrible pain and headache directly after surgery, it will get better 2 ~ 3 days after surgery, we will help to take a painkiller after check your situation, if you feel really sharp painc, just tell our nurse.

 

7. The most important thing is taking deep breaths and applying ice packs.

Taking deep breathe is useful for excreting anesthesia gas from the body, also applying ice packs useful for reducing swelling when you take a deep breath, you should keep stay awake and try to chest up to the point of taking deep breath slowly and deeply in a at least 4 hours after surgery, even though you are sleeping.

And only apply ice packs for 48hours after surgery, applying ice packs have to do for 10 minutes first and have to break for 5 minutes keep this pattern, don't need to do during sleeping in night.

 

8. Should fast for 4 hours after surgery, the nurse will help you to drink water after 4 hours.

Usually happen feel nausea the first day of surgery, keep drink water to a minimum.

 

9. Should keep a sitting position for seducing swelling and smooth breathing a lower one's head position is not good.

 

10. The tapes of sticking on face and blood pocket will be removed in the morning the day after tomokrrow.

You will keep mouth closedto to be fixed for your mouth against gap on the same day.

You will be fixed for your mouth after consider of surgery way (SSRO : usinf rubber band will be fixed for one week / IVRO : using wire will be fixed for two weeks.

 

11. Swelling degree is depends on person, you will have heavy swollen 3 ~ 7 days after surgery.

And swelling will reduce faster after taking out the stitches.
